Safety in mind
A solid, secure fireguard which ensures that sparks should not be able to escape from your fire and cause issues if you leave the fire unattended. Aesthetically the guard looks pretty decent but I am advised not as "pretty" as its traditional brass predecessor. Well worth the money

A really good buy
Ideal size for our fireplace. Stops all sparks and looks stylish too. Sturdily built so that our energetic dog cannot knock it over or displace it. Very pleased with this purchase and the price too (quoted £117 for a much flimsier and smaller one at a local shop)

Good looking, sturdy fire guard
Larger size fits right-over fire opening, no gaps, which is just what I wanted.
It is quite weighty, not flimsy, so stands safely on fire-place base - no wobbles.
It is suitable for a modern fire surround, blends in rather than looking out of place.
